Description

Sorry for ripping off the title of a movie that has nothing to do with this image, but I am so jazzed about this figure I coudn't help it. I tried to rig this model(Antares Alien Drone, same guy who made the Queen) about a year ago and failed.....Virus(creator of the other Alien figure) managed to do it. I changed a couple of things for this image, mainly color and adding a trans map for the head, and anisotropic specularity. The inner head bits are just BeyondBent's Chega, rescaled. I have been an Alien fan since 1979 when the trailer for the original movie scared the crap out of me and kept me awake for about a week. I am so stoked!

The atmosphere and mood you have created here is really creepy. (COOL!) I'll never forget the terror of watching Alien (4 times over!) It sure set a new standard. Your pic sure makes you think that someone is in big trouble. How about one where the alien is stalking the viewer? I wonder how the MIB would handle this one?!?
