Western Pioneers2 by rofocale ()
Well, this is suppose to be a "authentic" photo from the Old West.
The couple(who lived in Buffalo Creek)on the photo are; Jonathan Baxter together with his beloved wife, Emma.
Jonathan(John) was one of the famous Lawmen
in Buffalo Creek and together with his brother;
William, the Marshal of Buffalo Creek, they kept
the law for over 30 years in the town.
Jonathan, later on served as a Texas Ranger and
acchieved a reputation as a hard but righteous
man, among the vigilants.
He died peacefully,1882, at the high age of 83.
Emma, who was ten years younger than him, joined
him two years later.
They were both buried at the Buffalo Creek, Hill
Poser PP and Photoshop 7.
Credits to all the 3D stuff creators.
Without your brilliant products my
pictures wouldn´t exist!
Thank´s for looking...

Beautiful work! Nice outfit, poses and finish! So, if this was set in the 1830s or 1840s, they would have had Daguerreotypes, at best. So I guess rather than just a plain sepia tone, you could add some pretty weird coloration if you wanted to. :-) One small nitpick: I think if someone took the pains to shoot a simple portrait like that outdoors in those days, they would have made sure that more of the landscape be visible. I think the typical thing was a plain wall in the background.
