Description

For Jendellas who likes interspecies interactions... The ferret is Squirrel, the cat is Aliquot/TennisBallHead. TBH had a ferret buddy who has since moved on, and TBH has become "adopted" by Squirrel much to TBH's non-amusement. The first indication that they are "interacting" is a loud yowl which means that Squirrel is afoot, underfoot, and nipping at TBH's legs, butt, tail and the thunder of animal hooves lets all know that TBH is "a-comin thru!" with the clatter of mini Squirrel claws close behind... pun intended. TBH usually hides by jumping someplace where short-legged, fat-butted rats can't jump up to. In this case, TBH was snoozing and there was just enough room for one more up on the window cat ledge and some people just can't resist. No, they can't. Surprisingly, Squirrel settled down after only a little exploring. They stayed like this for almost 30 minutes (yeah, I need something more interesting to watch in my time off). Squirrel ruined it; he had to see what TBH was laying on top of. We have two other ferrets who also like TBH; Jo-Jo will jump on top of the cat while his brother Blotter Boy (Cinnabun actually) will plod up and sort of wrestle. Jo-Jo has the better techniques for cat torment. No PW. This is from a cell phone. Enjoy; thanks for viewing. We had some be yu ti ful weather this past weekend and headed to Gettysburg. Hopefully we will detour there and then pick up with more NYC images.

Even feral cats are quite fastidious of course, but, and out of pure curiosity, are ferrets readily house-trained?
