Looks like the Girls are having a little problem with the robo-dogs....
Just a fun follow-up to Walkin' The .....Uhhhh
I know how they feel.... As if I needed more stress, now my main Poser computer is giving me grief. For the last couple days, it's been throwing "Disk Error" messages at me. And of course, it's Drive C: / D: The boot drive is divided into 2 partitions. The "D:" partition is a 'factory image' that HP provides (rather than a Windows disk). This just resets the computer to the way it was when you bought it - which is kind of useless when it's the drive it's on that is failing.
I'm trying to image the drive to a spare hard drive so everything will be set up the same way as it is now, but so far, I'm not having much luck. It usually gets halfway through the process then gives me an error. Right now, I'm trying a different disc cloning app - and it's telling me it will take around 23 hours. That's if it makes it all the way through with no errors. It's at 2% right now....
Of course, the other option is to just stick a new HD in, and start from scratch - I have plenty of Windows 7 disks. Then, spend a week reinstalling everything, and getting it set up the way it was. It's a giant PITA, but the way it's looking, I'm probably going to have to go that route.
On the good side of things, I just got an email from DJI - my Mavic has been repaired under warranty, and is being shipped back in the next few days. I've also submitted some photos to Adobe Stock so maybe I can make a buck selling my photos as stock images. All the photos were accepted!
Anyway, I hope you enjoy this image! And no worries... More T.N.A. coming up - I still have 2 other machines with Poser installed. Thanks for all your comments and support! You all really do rock!

Thanks for the chuckle, reminds me of a Simpsons episode where Bart sees a dog humping another and says hey that one done is trying to hop over the other but can't seem to make it. Glad your car is done, hey have you tried checking on those T.N.A. personal plates? I might do that when I get a job and a newer car if i can afford one. Great job with this fun image, Rod.
Whoa, a problem for the girls here. Hate to hear about your technical difficulties. I'd be dead in the water if I were in your shoes. Looking forward to your next T.N.A. but know you've got a few medical procedures to get through...wouldn't it be nice if you could simply get a new firmware update:-)
Oh, MAN! Where do you get all your ideas from? Mechano-dog humping the Star Wars monster in miniature. And the expressions on the girls faces! I bet they'll have a bit of oil to clean off the side walk! My, another damned computer bitch-up. I've heard one should steer clear of HP because they ain't so good with 3D programs and screw themselves, which entails up-grades not wanted or desired. I had an offer for a HP when I had my C-drive replaced due to that nasty trojan last September, but I said I'd think about it, and have let the whole thing go. Man, I sincerely hope you get this problem out of the way. SO much time you've laid down on your computer room and all devices. Summer and T.Rex say "Hi! Chin up! We're rooting for ya'!" And so am I. Keep up the good work! :-)
lol :) ! Wrong firmware upgrade indeed !
I think you can also try to do a "chkdsk c: /f /r". Need to run that in the command prompt under admin rights and scanning the C: will need a reboot. It will ask for it. If that goes through successfully and it boots properly after the scan and fix is complete, you need to immediately do a backup. I have seen your more resent renders so I hope the computer troubles are resolved.
I really like your humor on this "nuts and bolts" approach. great poses and clothing for your ladies
I have two machines and use the newest one 95% of the time. I do have a memory problem when I set the indirect light too high. I would like to build a new computer, but the new high end video cards cost as much as my newest desktop .
as always, your fans eat up your work with glee, as they should. Great job. As usual, you capture gestures and poses perfectly, capturing the expression in face and body; your outfits are beautifully done, the light and coloration on the models is wonderful, and the story is perfectly told. (Those bots are gonna have one strange-looking kid!) Love the space in the scene---R and A are pulled back in two different directions---and lots of brick back there, and color contrasts. And a knocked-over trash can. Love it. And I love the bots, their construction, etc. Terrific job.
