well, these last 4 shots pretty much took care of me for the rest of the year...even this one: I mean, this is one of the things you do so well: You got a mainly bleached, beige facade here---broken up by dusty green trees: That seems simple, and much the same, right? But your detail, and the play of light and dark, and the sheer 'face' of it all, the monumentality of it all, gives it great life and presence. In zoom, it's a huge 'whap' in the eyes, with just enough sky to give it infinity. Loved these Utah shots, Richard. Real primal beauties. (Now I'm gonna go out and photograph a hydrant...)
