Description

I guess I'm on sort of a SciFi/Space kick this month! Got all these cool models that I never did anything with, and just happened across them recently... so I had to do something with them. This scene uses some of the same elements from the last couple uploads; namely, the planet, moons and sun. I retextured the planet and moons, and enlarged the sun. Instead of the planetary ring I used before, I decided to try an asteroid belt I got from Vanishing Point. It's by Anders Lejczak, part of his Space Background kit (.png images in layers). The ship is a Corellian Corvette Blockade Runner (Star Wars), by Sean P. Kennedy, also found at Vanishing Point. I don't usually do alot of postwork, as I like to try and accomplish everything within DAZ Studio (if at all possible), but on this, I had to go into PSP X2 to get the asteroids in the pic. That, and the logo were the only postwork. Lighting was a little more complicated in this one, as I had to move the lights around some and adjust intensity and color to get the ship to contrast the rest of the scene like I wanted.
