Beautiful photo shot, my friend! So many flowers to photograph in Spring. Hyacinths are my favorite and they bloom in so many different beautiful colors. luv.png

Praise to you Priska, for attempting macro and you did well, I don't know much about your type of camera details, but I do know what I see and what I like... it appears perfect to me, because there seems to be a glowing light at the bottom of the flower, highlighting the internal walls, such a precious phenomenon - which lasts only a short time in the life of a plant... it just looks so right ! with the background just 'melting' away, if you know what I mean ? LOL 🌷

Well, I said I'd be back for your two most recent shots, and here I am. Two fine comments above; and I agree with Brigitte (blondeblurr) about the light in the inner walls, and how quickly such colors disappear...An art teacher once said: "The most vivid colors in nature have the shortest life-span..." It's certainly true with flowers.

I saw this at full zoom, and then half zoom. And, even at half zoom, it "explodes" on the screen, compared to the display version. I don't know anything about macro photography (I've done little), but the yellows and reds are stunning, here. And you captured a "theatrical" light in this photo---and I don't know how. The main flower casts a shadow, which makes it look like it's lit on a theater stage. And that makes it look like it's performing (like it's in a spotlight). It's very powerful---the tulip seems to be posing in the middle of a performance. Your background is a lush bokeh. And the big swaths of blacks---in the background---make the flower stand out by contrast. It's almost an abstract...A beautiful bold portrait, where the petals are almost like flame...
