Description
This is an image I created for someone for commission..it is not in my norm...but I was rather pleased with how it turned out.
The path was his idea..I really liked it better without that path...but hey..got to make the client happy...or try to!

well, this is a very interesting picture and gives us a lot of food for thought. imagine, if you will; almost any vice we like . . . a beautiful woman or man, liquor, money, whatever; and place that over the character of death, so he is hidden by that vice. now, what you have done for us in this very neat render; is to reveal the power behind the vice and the ultimate demise of those who allow themselves to be caught. . . or is it that we are already caught -are born caught; and need Someone to come and rescue us?

This is an awesome image and you should be proud. And thank you for sharing. I really love the whole composition. The title has dual meanings. War brings death to our young men. And there you have death taking a man away from his family at a young age. Beautifully done. Yes, you have to please the client and if he wants that path he gets it! hehe. WOW Chrissy! Deep and several meanings behind this image. I love the style of it. Very front cover look to it. And very Biblical looking. Almost a painting type style. Especially with the sky and the cloth movement. Your hair painting on both characters move with the cloth beautifully and goes so well with the stormy look. And as for Death...perfection! Pure excellence here!

My God! What an incredible concept and image! You have carried this concept out so well. The power of this statement and the way you have put it together just blows my mind. The path is very reminiscent of the River Styx. The one "path" none of us want to cross.
