Description

Pure Photoshop painting with hard edged brush, from my own reference photo. I wanted to take a more painterly approach, but had real trouble with the hair and reverted back to my more photorealistic technique - something I'm trying to get away from. Photoshop lets you use very tiny brushes--if you want to force yourself to be looser, take one of the caliigraphy brushes instead-it will drive you nuts but make you work "big". But I like this very much!
