Last pic of this year's fireworks display, I promise! Where I was standing is about as high as the clock seen here, maybe a bit higher; there are only four buildings nearby that are higher, but all are also above this building (a church, the library, a hotel and the phone company), since the main downtown street (where this was shot from) is in the middle of a north-south hill that runs about five or six blocks. The building that this clock tower graces is also at the top of a hill, its ground floor a bit lower than the ground floor where I work, but well above where they were shooting off the fireworks from, getting in the way about a third of the time from my vantage point. Still, I got enough decent shots, both with and without the tower in the picture. However, of those where the clock was visible, this one struck me as one of the better ones, even if it just showed up as a bright flash from one of the salvos near the end that made up the "finale", if you could call it that this year. Nothing particularly interesting like with last years finale shot that I uploaded ("Shoot The Sky"), but I still liked what I got.
