Wow, this looks even better now that I see it on a big screen. You've done a very good job of simulating natural media. This has a very appealing color/tone range. Things I like:

  • The eyelashes are exquisite! Simply beautiful.
  • Lips; inviting and lush. Love that minute highlight on the top lip edge.
  • Pony tail: those little highlights are perfect.
  • Lines on neck and chin/jaw. Very natural looking.
  • Eyes – that little bit of lightness at the bottom! Love it!
  • The strong delineation between the tones on the forehead. Reminds me of classic ink wash techniques.

There are a few things I'm not in love with (don't hate, just don't love):

  • Her right ear looks oddly flat to me. It just doesn't look right; it kind of looks pointed, like she's an elf. Her left ear is not as bad.
  • There is a tiny, white line under her eyebrows. To me, this always looks like an artifact from a "find edges" filter. It is just really unlikely that this would be present in a natural media illustration.
  • Her nose: should that little bump of lightness on the left side of her nose be there? Now, in a male I wouldn't question it because lots of men have had their noses broken at one point or another (take a close look at men who were active as boys and teens and you'll probably notice that there is frequently a slight crookedness to their nose – just a little bit). But, even though there is a slight crookedness to her nose (I like it), the bump kind of strikes me as being out of place in such an otherwise striking, beautiful woman.

All in all, an EXCELLENT render and post work! Looking forward to seeing more soon.
