Nice and simple, which I like. However, it did take my eyes quite a while to find the figure, they seemed to be led down to the bottom right corner. Then again, I could be just plain wierd :)

i like it..the sole solitary figure..thinking about life on steps that could be concentric or just pure round steps..the steps of life.. pretty deep!

A strong one. There you see that we CGI fanatics should know not only the manuals but other artists (not necessarily in the CGI field...) work as well

i am a fan of strong composition, which i think can help to convey a story or emotion more than objects themselves ever could.this image is a case in point, where the viewer is compelled to wonder what the man is thinking, or looking at(although the title of the piece does push you in that direction)! brilliantly done.

Great sense of isolation and remoteness. The limited palette suggests to me a limbo of action and in-action.

In a way this is reminiscent of Jacob's Ladder/Zen....but then I'm as high as a kite on pain-killers.

This is quite good, actually, and a nice approximation of the original. Maybe change your camera position a bit to have an even closer fit and make your stair less circular. Also, the texture is a bit too clean, especially in the corners where dirt should accumulate.

I like this. It has a nice "Zen" feel to it. Plus it looks like the kinda place I'd love to be able to go to just to get away from the freaking rat race. I'm always glad to hear when someone tries something new. Although I do enjoy your style no matter what. Thanks for sharing this and for sharing about your desire to explore new styles. :)
