Description

Sitting by the campfire last summer, there was a bright moon, heard the "whoooo whoooo who who" .. closer, and closer, and I looked up and there she was! Watching us! I snuggled little Murphy dog a bit closer just in case that owl had a taste for little dogs. But she was just curious, and flew off to find a much more tender wee mouse. The greenery comes from Bunny's Mobius Jungle script, the owl is Bart Doetsche's Heartsrings-Snowflake script. Some tweaking going on, of course, to both scripts, and it's all assembled, framed, and signed in PSP. Well, there were snowflakes flying again when we took the dogs for a walk last night, but none of it stuck. Guess Mother Nature was just reminding us it was still winter yesterday. Snow was in the forecast for this morning as well, but I don't think that will happen. It is officially spring now after all. Thank you all for your wonderful comments on the previous post, February Snow, I so enjoy reading them all! Thank you too for all the faves, on that one too. And special thanks to {{{Bunny}}} for helping me figure out why the Mobius script wouldn't work for me.

Fascinating fractal design. The owl is the magnetic center of this compostion. It has a very strong presence which I find almost eerie. Colors are perfect but those ruby red eyes are virtually hypnotic. Excellent quality work, Rita!!!!!

This is lovely! Owls are one of my favorite birds. I hear a pair of Great horned owls in the trees by my home each night. This truly captures their mystery and the spirit of the night woods. I love how you did the eyes. The foliage is lovely, too. Amazing fractal work.

Is Jane also comming ? Lets rumble in the jungle... do the monkey... and do the mash patatoe = KaToFel... Ka (r) to ffel... at least it seams to be a nice jungle. Not a dangerous snake bite sourrounding. Rather a quiet place with some magic in the air. And the plants are very simpatico too... the green ones especially. One can even see the bright spirit of that owl - in the center of your fine picture. Greetings from me, the mighty Asparagus-Tarzan
