The words I’ve never said
It’s been eight years we’ve been together,
Eight short years which passed so fast!
We’ve shared so much through all those years,
Laughter, joy and several tears.
I promised you my heart forever,
Yet there were many, who didn’t think that we might last!
They didn’t know that you set me free,
Or that you were in love with me.
I’d never had that in my life, not even from my long loved wife.
You look at me as if heaven sent, always a sparkle in your eye,
And I claim that the bar was bent, sorry baby but just can’t lie!
But today, you wondered as to why I might stay,
As if this new issue might cause me to stray?
You know that I love you, and that you understand,
That I’d never leave you, it’s just not part of what’s planned.
We’ll face this together just you and me,
And an army of friends on Renderosity!
But that’s not enough, there are still words left unspoke,
To you, and in front of all of these folk.
I love you baby, these words you know true.
But I am so truly in love with just you!

Beautiful. I am sure she knows she is much loved. This is what will give her the strenght to get through these tough times. She not only has a loving family at home but a super huge one out here in cyberspace. We are sending healing vibes not just for her but for you and the rest of the family as well. Amazing and to the point! This is what relationships are all about--and so few people get to experience that! It's quite encouraging, beautifully written and presented! I agree with NefariousDrO when he says that you are a real tribute to what a relationship should be. It's true because I know of too many people in relationships that just don't work because they're not trying and now I come across two new friends who are doing what I think everyone should be able and willing to do...and that's simply to be there, to be WITH the person you love. That is, after all, one of the many things that love is all about! My hat is off to you and when I next drink vodka with sacred friends, I'm raising a toast to you!
