I took this picture in Lithuania but do not remember exactly where. It was the entrance of a church. Some postwork of course. Cheers!

The interesting thing is not just the flaking but also the paint that still adheres to parts of the statue. What we today don't think about is that statues the world over have in the past been painted to look more real. The idea of unpainted statues is rather recent. Good job with this. Keep it up. :-)
