Description

This is a model for a fantasy story concept a friend of mine is working on developing. The model was created completely in Rhino 2.0 and was rendered in Bryce 5. I have several more weapon models that I hope to upload soon....

This image is freaking awesome. You said it's for a fantasy story in the making? Dude tell me more about it. Is this weapon for a specific character in the story or just an idea you had. Great render, and awesome detail underneath the hand guard thing. Please post more images if you have any.

Sweeeeeet!! This sword is really stunning! The serrated blade adds that certain special touch to it, a fear factor so to speak! I definitely would no want to get hit by that, Aye!! The hand guard is really well designed and awesome attention to detail!! Also, did you say Bryce 5 rendered this? Wow, guess I'll have to check that out! Anyways, this is a job well done! Hopefully, I can get as good at 3D modeling as this someday! You the man!! Please post more!!

Thanks for all the compliments everyone. The story being written by my friend Marc MacLaughlin will be titled "Destiny Awaits" and is intended to be, when finished, a complete CGI movie in the same vain as Final Fantasy The Spirits Within. Allot of work has been done by many talented artists. Definitely take a look at the art of fxspecialist916 who is doing some modeling for the story and has some of his work posted on Renderosity as well. Thanks again everybody........
