The Swampthing's back! Wanted to come out with a digital image of the guy that doesn't look digital AND doesn't look photorealistic. (?---:)) rendered the poser model in bryce, ported it to photoshop and heavily textured it with filters on duplicate layers, painted backgrounds made in corelphotopaint, etc. At one instance, I had around 22 layers with a variety of opacities and masks! Been into a lot of dave mckean lately :) By the way, the pose was inspired by an old swampthing comicbook with a cover drawn by one of my fave illustrators and fellow countryman, nestor redondo. check out some of his classic work.
