Experimenting with the new camera: The NIKON Coolpix 8800 I am quite pleased with it so far. I hope everyone is having a pleasant weekend thank you much, for all of your comments.

Thank you for your kind comments and interest in this picture. This picture was done with the Nikon coolpix 8800 handheld at a focal length of 44.5. Image size was 3264 x 2448. The exposure mode was set to shutter priority at 1/30 sec. - F/8. The metering mode was set to multi-pattern and both sensitivity and tone compensation were both set to auto.

Oh, I forgot to mention that the vibration reduction system was on, and it really works! It works much better than expected, it's actually hard to believe that they can build a camera that you can hand hold when it is zoomed out to 360 mm. (You can leave your tripod at home) I will be posting some examples of this in the near future.
