This is a re-work of an image I posted here a few months ago.
In the tenement living area of a large urban city some where in North American of the 1950s, a youth is scolding his dog for engaging in some rough play with the kitties. His female companion looks on in disbelief, and a local cat hisses displeasure at the incident. While another cat seeks shelter under a parked car.
This is a digital illustration I created using Vue Complete, Painter 2017, Fuse 3D, DAZ Studio, Art Rage 4.5 & Photoshop.
Influenced by the art and story telling of legendary cartoonist Will Eisner.

I'm not a city boy so the place where this takes place would have been a heap of bricks or a haunting block after block of burned out brick buildings when I went looking in 1983. Jumping over to Windsor and Canada put me in the COGIC area and suburban wooden low structures. My kids did love the Our Gang cartoons on TV and the Little Rascals that were more from my father's time. This style is more like Saturday Evening Posts and Norman Rockwell in my illumination. Sorry, my comic books were more technical fantasy. The Packard and Hudson are local witnesses I do know.
