Description

By now you all are getting tired of the Civil War so here's a bit of a change for today.... Back in 2000, my wife and I went on a 3800 mile trek around the west. My brother-in-law, who had worked for the Bureau of Land Management planned the trip and took me.. my wife grew up in Utah... the east coast kid, around on all the back roads to see things vacationers never really see. 5 tires and a new transmission and extending the trip to three weeks... I just loved it, I had a chance to capture a number of reference images that I will someday get too. While I did lots of outdoor shots, this image was reworked to play with the texture and composition.

Obviously a well-worn working saddle. This is a wonderful tribute to the real old cowboys. Bravo!
