He seems to have many toys and some pet rats. I remember reading "Oliver Twist" back in 1959. I sure got mad at Mr. Bumble. But the name is a parody on the character! In fact, Mr. Bumble was paid by Oliver's uncle (?) to keep Oliver in the work house so he wouldn't get the sizable inheritance from his father. Your image catches the loneliness and forlorn feeling. Keep up the good work! :-)
You capture a great deal of emotion here. Very, very well done. I'd like to see more, sir! :-)
If I were to suggest something to make me feel more at home, I'd suggest not placing him dead center like that. Him being a little off to one side might add a little more of a dynamic feeling to the scene, as would a little color in the light that falls on him. Nevertheless, I'm VERY impressed by what you did here. Bravo.
