So, not only did my multi-racial-semi-homo-erotic image of 3 oiled beauties get censored and deleted, but so did the original artwork associated with this alternate image. I would have quietly accepted the deletion of the other piece, because I knew it had little artistic value (other the nude form of women), but the original version of this piece had high artistic integrity (at least in my mind). I'll be honest, I got a bit peeved when I saw it got deleted. Who opens a forum for artists, but then has such a closed mind as to censor a piece that has something to say? Yes, the original depicted sexual congress, but did not graphically show any graphic insertion (I do have some integrity, believe it or not). Well, I reworked an alternate version with something else to say, in polite protest of unwarranted suppression. Again, I'm not sure if the censor, being female, was offended, but if she was, I'd say she completely missed the message of the original piece. It was actually centered on empathy for an oppressed wife and mother. Now, this reworked piece spreads the focus to empathize with the husband as well. The original work, in one form or another, was one of my first posted images, and now it gets deleted? Why? If my account gets closed out completely because of these reworked reposts, then we all will know that not only do we have a censor on our hands, but also a tyrant! Either way, maybe I should thank her though, since there is a punk-style pride associated with any artist being censored!!
