Description

Someone asked about my last photo why someone wasn't fishing off the dock. Well, about 200 yards to the left of it was another dock and there was someone fishing off that one. Please view this full size. I zoomed in all the way for this one (12x) and it really brings the distant background landmass into view, but with some heat distortion rising off the water. Pretty neat.

Yeah, that IS neat. I also have an appreciation of the double pole fishing concept. I usually hold it at one pole with up to 3 hooks because handling 2 poles means I have to pay attention. :-) The tide level in this is excellent, leaving enough exposed wet piling to bring out the pier nicely.

You are right. Full size is great. This dock doesn't look very safe either. Great shot. Aloha

Zoomed in on this one, but still can't tell if that's Ernest Hemingway or Spencer Tracy up there on the dock. Interesting composition in this panoramic capture, K!
