Something different. Sometimes I like to take some work I did years ago and tweak it an re-render it. I've learned new tricks, the program is better and my Mac is faster.
It all started with the cave, then I wanted to populate it and I had this vision of an old hunter, who still has a mystic relationship to his prey. He kills for necessity, but respects nature and its spirits. Well I'm a romantic.

While I was working on this I just imagined that he would be totally part of nature, as much flesh and spirit as a any animal, seeing the world around him as a mixture of danger, mystery and discovery. he would kill but respect and be thankful to the spirit of his prey. I don't think he is consciously thinking this but, like a Japanese artist working wood, lacquer or clay, he's part of his spear, his victim and the act of survival. Don't know if this makes sense...
