I take it that one of the features of Poser work is fashion work and dressing models, including with accessories. Kind of like what people do to prepare models for the runway. I assume you have to have a good fashion sense, of what goes aesthetically with what, of where to accessorize and where not; and---like a fashion photographer---how to pose your model to capture the clothing in the best light. Now, I know that there's a lot more to Poser than that---there's portraiture, and capturing character and emotion, illustrating a situation, the many backgrounds, and so on...But I never realized how much thought and intuition you have to put into clothing, how to use it, drape it, light it, and make a presentation with it. Artists are notorious for having bizarre clothing-sense---they use colors like fashion designers would never use them. (My college and grad school girlfriend had that sense, dressing as only an artist would---beautifully, but off the beaten path where fashion was concerned.) So, for any artist who doesn't have a good fashion sense, it must be something an artist wants to gain for the sake of these portraits. This is a lonnnnnnnnnng way of saying, your sense of fashion and coordinating and contrasting with clothes and jewelry, etc, is first rate.

A simple white dress, draped and lit beautifully. With a subtle turn in the body---you use these subtle turns and bends often, and extremely well. A candle on each side of her, and she's framed by another either Medieval or Renaissance architectural background, with pillars, capitals, and arches. The air back there is moody and foggy, with mere suggestions of trees and other things. It suggests another pregnant time of day, when night is about to fall, and mysteries unfold. Her gown seems greek (the trim sure looks greek!), while the architecture looks later; and it all blends together harmoniously. Also, you put lots of bluish and other undertones in her stark white gown. You say she's a servant, but in this pov, she looks like she's about to emerge as the star of the party. Very finely done once more, Bob. And her pose looks into the distance, giving her an air of mystery and 'seeking'...

I hope her first day is not her last. A lovely character with a form hugging dress. Great use of the greenish palette to tie everything together.Love the necklace.
