Great composition. Nice of the gulls to pose for you. From the un-zoomed view the wall does bring to mind the backbone of a large animal, possibly from the Jurassic period.

Stunning. I don't know if it's odd or not, but the first thing I noticed were the gulls. They add a little something extra to the shot: I guess it has something to do with the fact that they're alive. The fog is quite dramatic, as it the wall itself. This is quite a dynamic photo and it makes me think along somewhat more cinematic lines--with the camera pulling back, following the contour of the wall, but the whole scene is in one long Tarkovsky-style take that probably lasts a good 10 minutes, with nothing but the ambient sound of the water, wind, and gulls. Yeah, this is a wonderfully moody marvel.
