Description
Rangers of the North patrol in the wilderness were once stood the lost kingdom of Arnor, in Tolkien's Third Age of the world, birthplace of Aragorn son of Arathorn, 16th chieftain of the Dunadain, heir to the kingdom and future king Elessar.
Arnor was divided into three kingdoms and the last and more powerful, Arthedain fell to the armies of Angmar in 1974 of the T.A. Although the next year the combined armies of Gondor destroyed the forces of Angmar at the battle of Fornost in 1975 TA, the kingdom was so ruined and depopulated that it couldn't be rebuilt.
The descendents of the chieftains and warriors of
Arthedain formed the companies of Rangers of the North, the Dunedain, to keep a watchful eye on the survivors of Arnor against all sort of fell and evil things that would wonder their way.
