Description

Thanks romanceworks for allowing me to use your beautiful work... "The Rose Fairy"... The story: Once upon a time, there was a little leaf who loved to play with the breeze. Each spring morning the breeze would come and blow gently on the little leaf. The little leaf has been giggled and swayed playfully. Summer come and the leaf has been matureed into a nice deep green colored leaf. Although the little leaf has been matured, she still liked to play with the wind. Wind would come, blow a little on the leaf and the leaf's little body would judder with joy. Fall arrived and with it come another type of wind. This wind was merciless. Would blow and blow, till the little leaf couldn't keep herself on the familiar branch and has been tear away. The little leaf has been moved with great speed toward the earth. She didn't want to leave the branch, but the wind was stronger than she was. The little leaf arrived to the earth and trembled. She didn't want to be buried into it. She wanted to remain on the familiar branch and enjoy her life. She was desperate. She wanted back. But the wind was merciless, it would not wanted to take back the little leaf onto her home. Other leafs arrived also to the earth. They joined to the little leaf and hugged her. During the winter they encouraged her and entertained her. Spring come and with it the breeze. The breeze blow gently on the leaf and helped her to arrive back to her familiar branch. The little leaf was happy to be once again on the branch. Nobody knew how this happened. Thank you all!!!!!!!!!!! Enjoy the image -- and comments are always very very welcome.

The original image is made by romanceworks. I re-worked it with photoshop brushes, made from 'The Beauty and the Texture_3' textures. I also would like to wish a safe and happy holiday season!

Vegetable reincarnation is perhaps Druid in inspiration if the Druids had migrated to India. Here in America we are in awe of roots so it is one of them. The story then is little and fascinating.

NekhbetSun, you are right :). I have posted already one of the versions of Carol's image. This is the same basic image, and I made a different texturing for it.

Thank you for your comments :). Thank you cornelp, also for your question about my texturing technique. I am using Photoshop in order to 'texture' images. I am using my digital textures [you can see them at the Renderosity marketplace]. I use the 'pattern stamp tool' of Photoshop with one of my digital textures in order to add texture to the image. First I select the 'pattern stamp tool' , than I select the brush shape and I start to add 'strokes' to the images. In order to take out 'textures' I use the eraser tool with the same shape of brush that I used to add texture.

One of my virtual friends pointed to me to the following qoute: 'Sometimes our fate resembles a fruit tree in winter. Who would think that those branches would turn green again and blossom, but we hope it, we know it' - Johann Wolfgang von Goethe Thanks for reading, and have a wonderful weekend!
