Description
I like how the three lights seem to work together towards her face... a soft purple distant to the left, a cyanish soft light to the right and a white light from above... I ask all lights to cast shadows as they would in real life.....lol...you know the life where all women look like this and they float naked in the loving arms of demonic tentacles.....real life!
I do like the first serious render of each piece when you see the shadows for the first time...for it is these wonderful shadows that give us the form and mood of the image.
The print render of this should give me tingles when it is finished, it is 18% done in the background, I just snuck a small one out for you all before hand....take care my friends

First an important note to everyone: THIS IS A MUST TO SEE THIS RENDER IN ITS FULL SIZE! :) I think this is your best work so far, Carl - at least in my eyes. It shows a harmony of shapes, curves, lights and shadows.... Beautiful, balanced composition, both when it comes to shapes and colors...and a splendid posing work, I love this! The model's determined expression put this scene one level higher than your other figure-versus-tentacles renders... My favorite! ;) Vashek

Stunning work, Carl.. no crits from me on this one as I cannot find anything to nitpick. Fabulous composition and feel. I love the buoyantcy that you have with the tentacles, it feels as if she is floating or striving upwards. She is so gracefully posed and softly lit! The blur at the bottom is fabulous. I wish I could see the full size one as well, if this made me catch my breath, I'm sure it would totally steal it away. Bravo!
