It's amazing how realistic you manage to make your images look. Like Nickieboy2004 pointed out, the shadows from the trees on the wall are fantastic. The light in an image is what makes it great, in my humble opinion. And the light here is just so right. Look at the sunlit leaves to the left, and look at the bushes below the window. It's two quite different nuances of green. It may be obvious in a photograph, but I wouldn't have thought of it if I were to CREATE an image. Clever done! It's the same thing with the window-frame - one part of it is sunlit and another is not. Beautiful.
This is wonderful, Patty! I saw the cat immediately (of course) and when I saw the squirrel, I knew that in the ensuing mayhem, the pie will be in serious jeopardy. I love the composition and depth of the image. The depth is not only seeing into the room, but also into story. It makes me think about the baker, and wonder what the outcome will be. Terrific lighting! The highlights on the tree trunk and the shadows on the wall are beautiful! On the wall, it is mostly the shadows forming the patterns, while on the window frame the shadow forms the background for a lovely pattern of light. I love this! Very well done!

Yes, I am quite certain your dear friend will enjoy this very much. :-D Of course .. he'll need to hurry along or there'll be no pie left to celebrate with. The two early guests seem very intent on starting the festivities all on their own. ;-) & Being as I know him very well .. on behalf of your friend .. I say, Thank You most deeply for creating this delightful & delicious surprise gift!! You have set a big smile upon his belated face. Terry
