Thank you so much. This image stands out noticeably from Sleeping Beauty. I first installed this body like a sculpture on the sofa, then I wanted the painting to represent her dreams. Quite quickly, it was the landscape that imposed itself, I first wanted it to be valued like an echo of the curves of the beautiful, but this forest has imposed itself. It becomes invasive, alive, sensual again, like revenge on the dead trees that have given the curves of man-made furniture. the luminous bells flowers form as many hearts which beat in unison with that of the young woman. The rose that she almost lets out is a kind of hope for a love to come, without it being designated. if her hand opens, the rose could land on the little red armchair. It's bright red and small like the promise of something to be born.

An intriguing and engaging allegorical composition. I find it interesting how even unintentionally, the tropes of folkloric tales assert themselves... perhaps they are so ingrained in the collective subconscious that we see them even when not explicitly referenced.

I think you are right about the tropes of folk tales, their dissemination in several cultures has revealed common structures and elements that have passed into the collective unconscious. It reminds me of Joseph Campbell's book, the Hero with a Thousand Faces.
