It's just my opinion, but I think the B+W and higher contrast works very well for this scene.

I'm not sure which I prefer... in colour or not, as both are equally beautiful and appropriate for different settings. I think you nailed this one for sure, though! The lack of colour allows the focus to entirely be on the nature of the scene... the movement and the texture of the water and the barren sky. Beautiful capture, Steve!
