I've heard about the devil in the flames, but have never seen it myself... You did a great job on this interpretation, Mike! That would be a very frightening thing to see - if anything could be more frightening than these powerful images. Thanks to Seal Team 6 for taking out the 'devil' that orchestated this cowardly act of mass murder.

What a powerful image and dedication you created Mike, it really moved me. A lot of people may laugh at me, but I do think acts of great evil such as this are influenced by Satan. Only someone inspired by true evil could commit such atrocities. So sorry you had to go through so much in such a short time and I'll keep you in my prayers that things keep looking up.

yeah and i saw the devil the other day when i read thet the hollywoodish presidential election campaign for both candidates is reaching the 3 billions. that is evil and devilish to me. start to think man. i condemm the abominable deed of 9/11, but go and read the middle east history from 1979-2001 and then you see the pathway wich brought the world to this point and if you are not stupid you know who to blame. and i wish that the so called civilized nations would stop to bring "culture" to the rest of the world. civilisation started 10.000 years ago with the first villages yes in the middle east it was,and the rest of the world still lived in caves for thousands of years to come,while the middle east had already higher standards. oh well you can also blame pope urban II for his crusader crap. sorry i had to vent and of course the sentimental part of my heart goes out to the victims,but i also have a brains wich is taking the whole pack into consideration and makes me make my conclusions.

The day this happened I was on my way to the teachers lounge. I was done subbing as a teacher and school secretary and had gotten into a fulltime position as an Ed Tech. 1 for the District. My students were Special Ed, whom I miss dearly by the way. So back to my trip to the lounge, I was seeing very people scrambling everywhere, people crying. The hallway was almost chaos. Entering the lounge several staff were glued to a television that wasn't there before. The school Principal was trying to calm one irate teacher down. Another teacher filled me in on what was happening. I was in shock. I couldn't believe it. I was trying to stay composed. I saw the second plane hit and zombie walked back to my classroom, my assistant was there and she looked up and said " What?" I told her she might want to go to the lounge, I can't say without upsetting the kids. Kids always over hear what you don't want them to and until I had instructions from the Principal, I couldn't say anything to kids no matter who they were. My little student Courtney was Autistic. She immediately knew something was wrong with me, her and I were kinda linked, thus why we got along so well. It was tough getting through those next hours. Thankfully the schools were allowed to let the students either go home or just hang out in the cafeteria. All I could think about was finding my four kids and getting them home...not that it was any safer there but it was what I needed to do so I could run into my room and cry. Being a single mom is tougher some days than others when you get to explain things like this to young kids with no real answer why. Impressive post Mike. If I ever find the footage you will be first to hear. Sounds like you life has been allot like mine by the way. Things always come in threes and its bullshit that it happens for a reason if ya ask me. But what do I know?

Unfortunately, since the beginning of Humanity, killing people who doesn't think the same way of you seems to be an usual way to do... They are so many places in the world where a Devil can be seen...

Fantastic render, Mike. Sounds like 2001 was a rough year for you. I was driving to the Michigan State Police post to do the police beat for the newspaper I worked for, and I saw everyone milling about outisde. When I got there, they pulled me in front of a TV just in time to see the second plane hit the towers. I could not believe it was real. I thought they were watching a movie. I still remember how eerie it was with no planes flying after that day for a time. Horrible.

Excellent job on this Mike. A fascinating tribute. I was saddened q to read of all the tragedy in your life at that time. Sounds like you had one REALLY SUCKY year in 2001.
