Description


Another try on matte painting. I´ve been wanting to use some of my old parliament models and turn them into something futuristic, and had this idea for some time. Finally got time to finish it up. :) Started out with a 3D plate and the cathedral model, modeled and rendered in C4D & Maxwell, and did the rest in Photoshop. A few wip shots here, and here.

I really like the perspective here, and of course the light. That and the grand scene and structures make for a very dramatic matte painting.
