The mountain is giving me fits, prior to using vue all I did was landscapes. I am finding vue to be very difficult to use when it comes to the landscape. I would appreciate pointers on makeing some real looking mountains in the background.

I think this is a beautiful render. I like how you arranged your vegetation. I am pretty new at this so I cant really help you in giving advise except that I have noticed that some artist use fog to create distant mountains that look real nice. The atmos is beautiful....Keep up the good work.

I think this is an excellent start. A little more noise on the terrains and it is perfect. There are some that are talented to do these mountains, others like me are not. But i am always optimistic that i can learn it one day. One day. I think this is already an excellent image

This is a very good scene. Everything is fantastic except prehaps the background mountain. The basic shape is very nice although the terrain map is too low resolution. It could instantly be improved however with some good bump maps, which is the easy way to add details without using more polygons. Use a simple noise function on the snow and a different map, something that looks like cracks for the rocky parts. Play with scaling of bump maps so the details suit the scale of the terrain. I am still learning myself but i hope these tips may be some help?
