OK, perhaps it was "an unintelligible lecture". OTOH, the image you show us here is both totally focused on the center of the lecture hall but also suggests that whatever is at that center must remain in place. IOW, focus on the topic and receive understanding. The image also makes me want to know the course of study and the topic of that lecture.

great color and general composition. You might try incresing the size of your shadow maps to increase the accuracy of shadows close to objects
