I really appreciate the wonderful messages and comments when I shared what was going on in my life with you all. I sat tonight and thought ok.....you have some time...so create something
and then I remembered Vashek posted a tight crop of a recent post to show the beauty of the character.....thanks Vashek - great idea.
so here are 20 head shots from recent posts.. I notice a few things here....yes I do like to mix up the lights a lot and no.2 thank god for aery soul / alfa seed hair!...damn it slows a render down but I do like messy hair
when I create an image I spend probably 1/4 of the design time getting the hair and the face and the light on the face right...the scene gets slapped together to frame the beauty or drama of the face...so when I look at these images I remember carefully tweaking them to get them right each time
now I have posted this I am going to go and create something new
my sister of which I spoke yesterday is a gifted artist, I shall share some of her art with you all one day....

Lovely collection of faces from your uploads, Carl! Which software do you use for the compression? I use Graphic Converter and it works just fine, it gives neat jpgs without any visible pixelation after compressing... Oh, btw - I have that hair too, but I haven't used it yet... it somehow feels like YOUR hair, since it suits your imagery so well... :) Vashek
