Description
At first, thank you for the nice comments and favorits to my last image: TFLWPT - Otar the White.
It means a lot to me!
For Ragnor and the Graywolves it looked very good in the beginning. They lured the attackers into an ambush and chopped them to pieces. However, that was just the vanguard. When the rearguard came, they stood on lost posts. For an open fight they were too few and could not keep up with the better equipped imperial troops. With the 5: 1 ratio they sent as many enemies as possible to the otherworld, but at some point the forces were exhausted. Ragnor got a sword pommel in the face and lost consciousness. When he awoke, most of the gray wolves were history. A few warriors were captured. Among them was Otar the White. They were destined to toil as workers in the emperor's quarries, or to be sold as slaves.
An emissary from the emperor was building up in front of Ragnor. His name was Otfried von Colmar. He had a translator with him to help him understand. A novice named Ansgar.
Otfried asked Ragnor if he was Ragnor Skryrmirson. Ragnor denied and said he was Nobody ...
Sequel follows.
