TMFV Page 034 A little atomic bomb blast sequence seemed neccessary here. Bert the Turtle anywhere in sight? I didn't think so. Stay tuned...More TMFV on its way! Enjoy life! Comment if you will... Thank you.

"Duck and cover." The very notion was ludicrous. Nice sequence!

Most excellent sound effects. And if things are true to the movie style, then the space ship will still be there...plus...well things can only get worse (LOL)

This looks like my worst nightmare. I especially like the second and last strips as they show such great movement. No words needed. We know what you're depicting. I think it's effective how you used the sounds instead of captions here. Great job! Chilling and effective. You really know your stuff.

Bert the Turtle just sent me a postcard. Said things were getting a little hot back home, so decided to take in some sun, surf, and sand. Wishes you well. Oh, btw, he said P.S. Beware of things that glow in the dark. ??? Now what the heck is that suppose to mean??? Well, you know ol Bert, always was a little vague.

Funny, I've just been viewing old footage of this kind of thing on that "Me Cylinder" (you tube) website. You've got it down to a tee! Gotta love the choice of wording Rich, very original!! Take care of you & those you hold dear! Kev

awesome recreation of the "blown away" footage! How soon 'till Collosal Man lumbers into view? the say that after a Nuclear War, the only things left will be Cockroaches and Twinkies.... and they're not sure about the cockroaches!

kind of reminds me of the 80s film atomic cafe. though released in the 80s it consisted of 50s test footage and the film was designed to have the 50s cold-war feel.

Imagine this, if they could of only known that back in the 50s you can get plans over the internet in the future to build a small "A" bomb ! Like to see where this is going , still look forward for more !

Amazing effects! I gotta agree it does remind me of old footage of atom bomb testing. The way you used the same panel with differents effects really captured the moment without result in a one page pinup that most people probably would have done.

Chilling scene, and aptly reminiscent of those old test explosion movies. Superb work!

Beautiful and impressive page. I would have preferred a "productive" framing, i.e., non-rectangular panels, to simulate a broken window, this would have increased the dramatic effect. As my friend Platin said, it is both excellent and horrible at the same time, because it remembers dramatic events, that at the light of history now appear as a monstruous crime.

excellent frame by frame. I recently was making a picture of an explosion (upload sometime this next week)... When I got back from work, I heard our apartment complex caught fire and the fire department was here. The building is fine, but the tenants are young kids that are broke - rumor has it they don't want to live here anymore and are going to get stuck with a few thousand dollars in repairs - explosions can be devastating.
