Description

TMFV Page 008. Hired a couple of extras. Wrote them into the script as Cops. Not very good at acting but they are the Producer's benifactor's nephews. Man the compromises I have to make! Used the slew of 3d and post op apps I always use. See previous entries for that list. Enjoy and comments are always welcomed!

Now that you've made a few of these, what can you tell your fans about setting up frame, rendering process, blah, blah, blah. I'm interested to know if you make one picture render it, make another and another and then copy and paste them on you page... I guess what I'm asking you is, what is the advantage of having this comic book creator? The other thing, black and white looks good and everything, but If you wanted to, if you filed this, can you change the comic to realistic and add color? I'm courious because this is interesting and I know nothing about the program. I have done comics in the past for businesses (didn't make hardly any money) but I had to copy/paste everything the old fashion way with a waxer and light table. If you post a reply on this page, would you mind copying it and emailing it to me, thanks. comic looks great, Mike of mikeerson

Mike: Comic Book Creator helps with the page layout, voice ballons and publishing to various print types. Each app I use has one or two attributes that I look for. Silo and 3ds Max for model making. Poser and Quidam for some character creation. Vue for scene erecting and lighting. Render from there, too. Photoshop for blending multiple layers and filters to make the images. Comic Book Creator for the final assembly. B&W because all the best and cheesiest 50's SciFi flicks were done that way. I am honoring them with this graphic novel. The PS filters I'm using are styled to closely imitate Mad Magazine and Creepy style publications. All fond memories for me.

That is top-notch comics! All the pages are excellent not only from the illustrator's point of view but also from the professional comic author too. Interesting tale, waiting for the next page! 5+!

hehehe, what Tor wants, Tor gets.... yeah I hear ya about having to "guest shot" relatives on the money..... but the upside is that they can "always " be the first eaten or killed... a few years from now, put them in red sweatshirts and they can be expendable crewmen in that new Star Trek TV Series (who ever heard of Sci-Fi making it on TV... sheeesh!)

Awesome series of work. I'm kinda jealous not to have been around to read & experience these kinds of comics in their first editions. You've got more patience than me Richard!

That frame with the police car on the road is amazing - straight out of a 50's ufo flick. I can imagine a gig moving jelly with an eye in the middle!
