Description

First of all, thank you very much for your comments and mails. They are really appreciated. Your encouragements feeds my artistic pursuit and your objective critique helps me improve. I did not know how to classify this image, so it ended up in "Mixed Medium"... This is inspired by M.C. Esher a progressive artist that redefined perception in the early 20th century. I was going to make a Dragon as a tattoo. I even bought a Dragon character specifically for this purpose. But I discovered that this was already done by another artist here in Rendo... The model is V4 with the beatiful DM's Kay textures and morphs. The Tattoo was generated in Xenodream and imported into Carrara. 8 different Carrara renders were then combined in Photoshop to produce the final result. I do not remember how long it took... This image was submitted to an exhibition. I believe that the image is of reasonable originality and quality, but it did not get accepted. I may especulate that this type of digital art is still not very well defined in exhibitions (I had to include this image in the illustration category)... Do you have any comments?

You classify it under Brilliant for that's what she and it IS!!!! Her curves the use of light and shadow and the unique design and effects for the tattoos!!!!! Love it all very stylish and sexy!!!!!

I immediately thought of M.C. Escher even before I saw your description. Well done! It seems that there is and will be a prejudice against digital as a "fine" art rather than a "graphic" art. I think many jurors don't understand it and therefore don't accept it. I have heard this complaint from many digital artists.
