Description

Artmatic Voyager, Daz, Artmatic Pro, The Gimp, Pixelmator, and Filter Forge. All done in about 9 layers. Thanks for looking. I'm trying to decide what to do about my beloved 16 year old rescued dog who has been diagnosed with CDS (doggie Alzheimer's). I'm trying her on new medication, but after two weeks, I'm not seeing any progress and she keeps getting tangled in the furniture. This is my therapy tonight. This image started out as a basic tree and turned into a tangled forest. Thanks for looking and for any comments you care to make. I'll be back later in the week to visit the galleries and comment.

Cathy this is as Adrie desribed so filled with Emotion. I'm so sorry about what you and your Dog are going through and will put you both in my prayers. Don't give up yet, and you may want to try another med or even ask one of the vets online just to get a second opinion as I did for my dog. They are a large group and offer advice for very minimal fees.

First, I'm sorry about your dog, it's a very hard decision when you love something so precious. Next, your art demonstrates the struggle you're experience. My heart goes out to your dog ...poor little thing.

Oh My God, Cathy, the meds are not working for her? Oh my heart is just breaking for you. I know you will make the right decisions for her, and you will find the right answer for her and for you. Your work is filled with the emotions you are feeling now, and though it's a dark work, it's beauty is in it's darkness and the sorrows it holds.

So sorry about your dog, very sad. I know what you are feeling, my Mom has it too (only the people kind). Your picture is very pretty, it looks like brain ganglion a bit.

We put a lot of ourselves in our graphics and style, and this opaque forest points to your enduring a situation where not a ray of hope seems visible. And yet, faith and will power can turn everything back to normal, and I hope you will eventually muddle through this period of disarray and sadness.

This is a most beautiful image, and ever so emotionally ridden... strewn with the tangle of feelings you must have towards your sick little doggy. Gorgeous colours and expression, this is a true work of art! I do hope things work out for the best... miracles do happen!

I'm so sorry about your dog. I hope she does better on the new medication. It's so sad to see those we love deteriorate. Beautiful and emotional image! Wonderful postwork on your basic tree!

Wonderfully intense colour, through which we glance through to a hopeful sky. Very Alice in wonderland. I think the mysterious shape is the Cheshire cat... and while we're there, in Cheshire, it also reminds me of the mystery of radio telescopes and the exploration of space... peering through the gloom and whatnot. The biggest radio telescope in England is Jodrell Bank, in Cheshire.

Intense, moody and thought-proving. You must've been listening to the blues when you created this image. All the best to you and yer pooch.
