I think there is just a bit too much DOF. Every thing else looks fantastic.

i don't think u need a DoF for close up shot like that...

depends on your settings for f-stop etc. you can have as much dof with a real lens as you want.

looks great, but parhapps the dragons can have some more details? the rest of the sword looks nice...the dragons looks kinda out of place with such a plain look....try adding some scales or something :) or just some minor bumping, like they where bronze decorations or something like that...

Im thinking a little more detail in the dragon decorations on the cross guard would have been nice, but i have seen photos taken that look more fake.
