Description

Hi there, folks, Not a dragon today, but a portrait instead. This woman is different from my usual portraits. I've tried to make her less "pouty, sexy lips and come-hither eyes" and more "real" - if that makes sense. Once burned, twice shy, she regards the world with suspicious eyes. I painted the eyes in PS CS3, and did the shadowing there too. Hope you like her - and also, thanks for the comments about my dragon series. :-) Gun aka redheadgrrl Victoria 4.2 Elite textures Lana

Excellent expression. Really great lighting and pose. Wonderful textures on her top. Great background. Great job on painting her eyes. Very realistic. Great job!

I really like this - I think you've done her expression quite right for the title ... I LOVE the lip work and the look :D I like how you've painted the shadows in her eyes - perhaps a tip would be to paint some "hair strands" shade - so that it is not nice and straight (yes it is nice and straight :D) but a bit "zig-zaggy" to go with the bangs in front of her eyes ... The hair looks lovely :D But it sorta makes no sense to have it blowing inside the house unless there's a fan going beside her but seeing the snows on top of the mountain - BRRRRRR why would she want to turn on the fan !!?? :D :D :D ... but I do really like the hair painting you've done! Ya know, lady - this could go both ways - she could be suspicious or just plain pissed off because of the fan messing up her hairdo. grin I think you've done a good work here! :) Tina

Gun, this is REALLY wonderful work! Great posing and expressions, really good lighting, EXCELLENT postwork. Portraying emotions is really difficult in 3D art, but you've done a very good job here.
