Thank you! Mostly scene lights that came with the set, and Epic Godrays, though next time I need to remember that using the scene lights from these sets usually makes for some really slow render times.

I think this just might spawn a whole chapter in their next book. I'm currently juggling my projects, trying to get something done so I don't feel so bad about starting anything else. I hoped to write a new entry in the series every summer, and here summer is almost upon us and I'm still in the middle of TWO other novels I've started. (And I REALLY want to get book four of my fantasy series going.)

So, on top of feeling overwhelmed, I am, in fact, overwhelmed. Lol. I'm doing a bit better today. I posted a bunch of short-term goals to my whiteboard for me to cross off and hopefully gain momentum on the long-term ones.

Aww, thanks! I think I really like doing more subtle work like this. So often, artists just want to be all IN YOUR FACE about it. I tell you though, it took a while to get the opacity of that screen JUST right. At full, she was barely a shadow. I did several iterations, until I got it to what you see here.

Terrific steamy in the shower setting. A great atmosphere you've done. Many like you suffer from depression, I may do alot. But my art and great friends here keep me on the up. Cheer up.

Thank you eekdog! Speaking of showers, I hope to spend some time working on my water renders again soon. I still have a WIP that I'd like to move over to the complete column. Hmm. Maybe in the next few days? I should at least make a little progress on it.

I really, really like this. The steamy appearance of the screen, and sunlight coming in the window really make this look perfect. I can almost hear the water running in the shower.

Thank you. At least I got my page done today, so there's that. Though in the future I will be very wary of putting characters in dresses, lol. The next outfit for the Princess character is a bit more revealing than her dress, but it shouldn't cause any problems when it comes time to do things like dinosaur-back riding and all that. I'm going with the whole, "Dress opposite of what everyone would expect." as a means of a disguise.

As for the other. Mostly family problems. Unexpected family problems. On top of other stress. And none of it is COVID related, though that has affected my ability to just go take a week away from everything in order to slow down and process.

Then again, I've been full-time caretaker for my mother since early 2019. So it isn't entirely the pandemic's fault for that, either.

This is a lovely work. i love your light and shadow work. Hang in there please. Be kind to yourself when you are feeling down. That's what others would do for you , so do it for yourself.
