Such a beautiful view. The glitter is just right, but I love the foam on the foregound.

Terrific composition. I prefer this one. The details show better in black and white.

We do have some mighty fine inland waterways here, but we miss the ocean...it is three hours away. Your photos bring it all back....like 'em both....B&W just a shade better than the color.

almost commented on this when it went up, had it not been for other commitments...I love it, it's got all the contrasts that terrific black and white water shots can get. I feel so close to this, having lived around my lake so many years. Of course your ocean can get ferocious in ways the lake can't; but in a shot like this, they could be twins. Beautiful crest-whites. Anyone can appreciate this; but those of us who live right on the water have to kvell over this. (You know the word---yiddish for "gush" or "love it"...) I love it.

(andrea, I hope to finish a little dumb collection of "key" things for your bday, but I promise it will be brief entries, and no gushing! All that matters is that you know I remembered, and that others can celebrate with you. I'll make it palatable, I promise!) (from your keys upload...)
