This picture is a message of happy summer, for you all. The sweet model is Francesca, the best friend of a friend's daughter whom you're gonna see as well soon, in my works, or like it has already happened (and will) in Synapse, disa and jrulier's work in 2D :). This picture especially has been given to disa to work on it the way he prefers.
I love to take pictures for valuable artists, as they can create magic even with unperfect shots (as are mines, since I am still learning).
In this picture I wanted to portray not only Summer, and the joy of it, but also the beauty of life blossoming in the pure, lively and playful attitude of an 11years old full of youth and enthousiasm for everything.Not only that: I also believe the pure magic of Summer holidays is totally perceivable and felt merely in childhood times, when we are carefree and we can appreciate the possibilities of the spare times in full. None is as happy on the beach as a kid turning teenager.All sounds, appears.. smells even like a wonderful chance then.Sun shines at its peak.This picture wants to communicate to you all the powerful vibe of Holidays.
Refresh yourself along Francesca's sight and .. take a shower ;) On the beach, it's better :)

You won't agree, I know, but for a beginner this is quite a shot. You captured the motion (and emotion) of Francesca, and so important is the light: accentuating the shoulders and clavicles and hinting at the blossoming that awaits her around the corner. Sensual but remaining innocent :-)
I only wish there was less of a background competing for the attention, but you were unlucky here; it could've been much worse however, it doesn't distract from the playful beauty of your subject :-)

I agree with Synapse in every single point. Great shot! (The background isn't that bad. I think really fits. A li'l more blur and it wouldn't "compete for attention".

Meli, you don't give yourself enough credit my dear. This shot is so expressive and wonderfully shot. We are all always learning. When I bite a sandwich someone else is eating, it just taste better. I can't have another bite is why. Your artwork is much the same. Others just seems better when it's only different. Wet hugs from the beach shower! ooohhh feels so good!!

Well done Meli:) The background is a little distracting, but probably with the level of light you could not open the aperture up to make the DOF blur the background? Watch out for things like the blue bottle on the right..Most importantly and what you have done very well is catching the emotion/mood. Your learning fast:))
