Description
I belong to a large choral society and a few days ago we sang Handel's Messiah in Winchester Cathedral. We were sitting in chairs set on a series of steps at a very steep angle and I thought the view of all the struts and girders from the side at ground level looked interesting so I took a photo of it just before the rehearsal began, on the night before the performance. You can see some of the stone vaulting and arches of the cathedral as well.
