Some of the realism here really impresses me. I've never seen objects half-buried in sand look so realistic, not to mention the sand itself and the amazingly lifelike texture of the barrels and boat. The sky is richly detailed and dreamlike, and the general mood of the scene is nicely calm and warm, very pleasant. That lighting you had so much fun with is a perfect compliment. For critique: the texture of the short grass is too flat, maybe give it a little bit of fine-detailed bumpiness? The rocks would look a little better if they were just gray without those flecks of brown (seems a little over-textured to me). And you really don't need that wavier sand in the lower-right corner. Please don't take any of this as a personal affront, I'm just trying to help you make this image as good as it can be. Good luck and keep rendering!

Your wonderful lighting on this superb composition shows the great details on texture and colors of the rocks and objects buried in the sand, like the barrels ! The strong, far distant stormy cloud layers even add a lot to the image. Groundwork fits very well, too ! 5+ !
