Thee are floppies which can only hold the under 1.44Mb files and CD-ROM burners that can take up to 650Mb as well as DVD burners to avoid this. Everytime I have run out of space on my computer and had to delete files I always found some files that were too big or some that I did not realize were they were I needed. When the hard drive crashes and the files over 1.44MB are lost on a machine that has no CD or CVD burner and no Internet or Ethernet connection to ship them to even an old computer it is sad. I still miss my ford cabover tandem tractor and Chevrolet cabover tractor that I shrunk and interpretted from my White Freightliner. And then there is the myriad of Poser4.0 that was 1.45Mb!! They did that on purpose!! Hey! are you a fan of no fault and tort reform? Anarchy? Nihilism?

Computer crashes are scary. Ever since I experienced my first one I've had two external drives for all my documents. If/when the comp crashes next time I will only lose my applications but since I have those in original boxes it's only a matter of reinstalling. A 250GB USB external drive is around $100 and well worth the money!
